Distressed. Some prominent signs of wear: may have significant losses, fading or structural issues. Pale fading.throughout the piece. Minimal scuffing towards the middle. A small tear towards the side seams. Both selvages preserved intact. No eyelets! Can be used continuously. Not at all perfect, but with the imperfections inherent in these beautiful old textiles. Special to reproduce antiquity.
- Beautiful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in golden yellow color. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is cotton, medium weight and is extra soft! Perfect textile for decoration projects, cushions, bags, etc. On a soft damask fabric we see medallions and other resources that frame Diana the Huntress, a harp, a trumpet, details that remind us of the walls of the Chateau de Fontainebleau.
