- Very rare vintage ticking fabric cobalt blue and white with a motif of Arabic atmosphere. It is a European damask fabric circa 1950. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is medium weight cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. The designs recall the drawings and patterns of French fabrics such as the Toile de Jouy and the Indianas. In this fabric, the motifs are very original: Arab riders in battle, dancers, walkers on camels, ... Arab architectures and palm trees frame the scenes.
