- Wonderful vintage jungle green and white striped ticking fabric. It is a resistant European fabric made around 1950 that mixes sateen weave with damask jacquard with geometric motifs. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutís” (from the French “coutil”)
This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure of the last Mediterranean factories. It is made of medium weight cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, curtains, cushions, etc.
ROSARIO SAYS: "I love how with just a few elements they managed to make such interesting fabrics: Here, the damask one adds a note of liveliness by using thread of various colors”
