    Condition: Excellent
Excellent condition. It is an antique textile without defects, probably never used. The width is formed by two long strips joined in the middle, which indicates that it was made on a narrow loom. Normally indicative of the antiquity of the textile. Exceptional and extremely rare! It is as found, unwashed and unused condition, most fabulous indeed!

  • Description
  • How To Shop
  • An extraordinary find! Magnificent Finnish ticking made of very rustic and thick linen (linen tow) with longitudinal red, blue and off-white stripes. Woven on a handloom 56 cm wide. It is a piece from the early 1900s. The term "tow" refers to the shorter flax fibers left over from the spinning process. Threads and fabrics made from tow fibers are usually thicker and more rustic in nature.

ROSARIO SAYS: “It is a wonderful fabric. A true collector's piece!!! A luxury to have this unique piece.”
