A magnificent find! Huge piece of vintage mattress fabric (ticking) cobalt blue and white with a curious motif of vine leaves. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940 that maintains the original satin. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is made of thick cotton with a soft touch. Perfect textile for interior decoration projects that need a lot of useful fabric.
