Condition: Good
Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing throughout the piece. This piece has aged beautifully. Lovely patina. Exquisite!
- Beautiful Swedish cushion filled with feathers with a beautiful combination of dark gray stripes and other stripes of very warm colors, oranges or reds which gives it luminosity.
It is woven in twill, being the warp of cotton thread and the weft of rustic wool of different shades. Very characteristic are the Swedish bed textiles in brown or gray colors with different red stripes. Usually woven on handlooms about 50-60 cm wide. This pillow has been hand-sewn closed, a delicious old detail! I have a set of two available.
