DA-ROSETON-COL

Rolletes

  • Elegant pink, blue, and yellow vintage ticking fabrics with a floral motif. They are European damask fabrics manufactured around 1930-1950 to make mattress covers. These fabrics are unused. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last factories of the Mediterranean. Cotton with strong and dense weight. They have quite some sizing (starch) that disappears when washing, becoming very soft and moldable. Strong textiles perfect for upholstery projects. These fabrics will gain in softness the more they are washed. The lower fabric stands out for its clear hue.

ROSARIO SAYS: "Whenever I see these flowers I think of the schematic roses of Rennie Mackintosh, Scottish designer of the 19th century."
