Extraordinary and very rare vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in soft pink color. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930 or earlier. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is a medium weight cotton. It is such a special fabric that it deserves to be part of a space on the walls of our house. The motif is seagulls of very different sizes that fly over the entire sky represented. It is a unique piece.
