Excellent condition. Very large piece that can be very well used. It is an antique textile without defects, never used. A few pale storage marks that may wash beautifully. Both selvedges preserved intact. Exceptional and extremely rare! It is as found, unwashed and unused condition, most fabulous indeed!
- Beautiful vintage ticking fabric in olive green with a motif of large white flowers that look like chrysanthemums. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This fabric is a medium weight cotton. Dahlias and chrysanthemums appear in many Japanese motifs, a very fashionable representation of 1900 in Europe. (Art Nouveau, Modernisme). The chrysanthemum is one of the symbols of Japan.
