- Width: 108 cm. (42")
Length: 91 cm. (35")
Condition: Good
Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration throughout the piece. Minimal scuffing towards the middle. One intact selvage. Without eyelets, but with the seams of the original tape. Very usable! The faded color gives it a lovely antique patina.
- Wonderful vintage ticking fabric with lilac, cream, white, red and blue stripes. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 of herringbone weave. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutís” (from the French “coutil”)
It is made of medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for upholstery and interior design projects. The herringbone has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture
ROSARIO SAYS: “A perfect combination of colors and widths of the stripes !!! It is elegant as well as fresh and colorful. "
