    Condition: Distressed
    Distressed. Some prominent signs of wear: may have significant losses, fading or structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing throughout the piece. Some small pea sized holes throughout the piece. With hand mendings. An L-shaped tear of approx. 15x7cm in the central part. With many marks but still usable. Not at all perfect, but with the imperfections inherent in these beautiful antique textiles.

  • Very nice very old red and white ticking fabric with a fabric that forms stripes and squares. This is a durable European fabric manufactured in the early 1900s. In twill weave. It is made of medium weight cotton. It is a dense fabric perfect for upholstery and interior design projects. Soft to the touch with matte cotton threads.

    ROSARIO SAYS: “The squares of this type of fabric are a way to decorate the simple stripes. A very similar fabric was reproduced in central Europe and also in the USA, in the old "coverlets."
