    Distressed. Some prominent signs of wear: may have significant losses, fading or structural issues. Color unevenly faded with time. throughout the piece. Minimal scuffing towards the bottom edge. Some significant tears towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage. Scene of lovers, the boy, and the ladies. Full scene. Despite all these imperfections it is a unique fabric. Maybe not for everyone. Incredibly beautiful and rare!

  • Original vintage ticking fabric light blue and white with a Versailles motif. A hidden story of romance among gardens. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is made of heavy cotton. Textile perfect for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. The designs recall drawings and patterns of French fabrics such as The Toile de Jouy and the Indianas. It is especially soft and bright.
