    Condition: Distressed
    Distressed. Some prominent signs of wear: may have significant losses, fading or structural issues. Color unevenly faded with time. towards the side seams. Moderate scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. Very nice hand-moldable texture.

  • Original vintage ticking fabric in light blue and white. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930 with a Versailles pattern. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is extra soft cotton it is medium weight. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. The designs recall the drawings and patterns of French fabrics such as the Toile de Jouy. We can see a romance among gardens (and a dog!).
