Beautiful light blue vintage mattress ticking fabric. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. This piece, recovered and freshly laundered, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is cotton, medium weight .

ROSARIO SAYS: “It is a very curious pattern. We have a lady playing the lyre, a couple of cute jupes playing fights, and fragile butterflies fluttering around. Symbols all very much in the taste of the French “Rococo” style.”
