Remarkable! Beautiful cobalt blue vintage ticking fabric. It is a European damask fabric from around the 1900s. These pieces, recovered and freshly washed, were part of a mattress cover. These fabrics are cotton, strong weight and sturdy (but very soft!). Perfect textiles for small decorative projects, appliques, necessities, cushions, bags, etc. With a pattern of cherry blossom branches and fluttering swallows. Also in this fabric appear the oriental themes so fashionable Art Nouveau.
