    Good condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Slightly worn eyelets. One intact selvage. An exceptional piece. Very tender and incredibly rare scene!

  • Beautiful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in sky blue color. It is a European damask fabric from the 1900s. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. These fabrics are cotton, medium weight and resistant (but very soft!). Perfect textile for small decorative projects, appliques, toiletry bags, cushions, etc. Designs of children's toys or animals flutter on a pale blue sateen background. The designs are simple compared to other fabrics in our store. It is the only fabric with a children’s character of the many that we know. Hence its rarity.
