Wonderful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in light blue color. It is a European damask fabric from around 1950 with a beautiful motif of flower garlands and vases surrounded by ribbons. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This extra soft cotton fabric is lightweight. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. Very baroque but very nice pattern, with a smiling angel holding a vase of flowers and a bird.
