Beautiful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in faded dark blue. It is a European damask fabric from around 1920. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is cotton, medium weight and is very moldable. Perfect textile for decoration projects, timeworn. On a delicious damask fabric we see vegetable garlands, bouquets of roses and some friendly Cupids shoot their arrows very much in the French "Rococo" style.
