  • Magnificent antique cobalt blue and white ticking fabric. A stereotypical flower inside a circular garland. It is a European damask fabric manufactured around 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric is made of heavy, dense cotton, but very moldable after many washes and uses.

    ROSARIO SAYS “This large flower is a stereotype of the pomegranate, a classic symbol in 19th century textiles. In the factory itself they called this fabric “the pineapple” and it was its emblem for many years.“
