Fantastic vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in Bordeaux red. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930-1940. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This extra soft cotton fabric is lightweight. Perfect textile for decoration projects, cushions, bags, etc. Mixed pattern, large flowers, flowering trees, exotic birds, varied architectures such as pyramids, a castle, a rural house, etc. It is like a journey through many cultures.
