    Condition: Excellent
    Excellent condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Very large piece that can be very well used. Piece of incredible beauty. With rich, vibrant color and bright yarn. Very big and very rare.

  • Superb vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in a vivid maroon color with an exotic nature motif. It is a European damask fabric manufactured around 1940 to make mattress covers. This fabric is unused. It is made of cotton with a strong and dense weight, but very moldable after many washes and use. Perfect textile for decoration projects. The designs on this fabric take us to Japan: cherry blossoms, waterfalls and bridges, exotic birds, etc. Designs very much like the European Art Nouveau of the 19th century.
