Delicious vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in light lilac color. It is a European damask fabric from around 1950. Large exotic flower pattern (thistles and hydrangeas). This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is made of soft cotton and is light in weight. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. The white thread of the weft is neat very shiny, which gives a different look to this mattress fabric.
