  • Curious vintage ticking fabric that presents jacquard designs in striped spaces. The mix of colors in the stripes is also original: soft lilac with intense orange and grayish green. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is cotton, medium weight and very soft. On a delicious damask fabric we see vegetable garlands, bouquets of roses and some friendly Cupids launch their arrows.
