Pretty vintage ticking fabric in deep lilac color. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. This piece, recovered and freshly laundered, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is cotton, medium weight and very soft. On a delicious damask fabric we see vegetable garlands, bouquets of roses and friendly Cupids launch their arrows.
