Wonderful and original vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in orange brown. It is a European damask fabric from around 1950. Large chrysanthemums and acanthus leaves run through the entire fabric. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. This fabric is soft cotton, yet heavy in weight. It is very resistant.
