    Condition: Distressed
    Distressed. Moderate wear consistent with age and history. Color unevenly faded with time. towards the side seams. Moderate scuffing towards the side seams. Both selvages preserved intact. No eyelets! But with the original tape seams. A very rare find. Perfect for cushions, napkins or board games. Despite the imperfections it is a unique fabric. Maybe not for everyone. Incredibly beautiful and rare!

  • Beautiful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in faded orange with an original and curious oriental motif. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This extra soft cotton fabric is lightweight. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. Oriental and exotic motifs appear on this canvas according to the taste of the time. They remind us of the Chinoiseries of French Art Nouveau, here we see groups of friends in procession. Oriental environment and architectures.
