    Condition: Good
    Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the bottom edge. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. The two scenes of the courtship and the lovers' dance appear.

  • Original vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in red and white with a Versailles motif. It hides a story of romance among gardens. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is heavy cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. The designs recall the drawings and patterns of French fabrics such as the Toile de Jouy and the Indianas. It is especially smooth and shiny.
