    Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage. Beautiful hand sewn back patches.

  • Gorgeous vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in deep red with a motif of large white chrysanthemums. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is a medium weight cotton. Perfect textile for decoration projects, cushions, bags, etc. Dahlias and chrysanthemums appear in many oriental motifs, in the fashion of 1900 in Europe. (Art Nouveau, Modernisme)
