Wonderful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in Aged Red. It is a European damask fabric from around 1940. With some curious chrysanthemums. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is made of strong cotton and at the same time extra soft. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. It is a resistant fabric with a beautiful drape. Satin areas retain their original shine.
