    Distressed. Some prominent signs of wear: may have significant losses, fading or structural issues. Pale fading.Moderate scuffing towards the side seams. A small tear towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage. Very nice hand-moldable texture. Specially soft fabric. Despite all these imperfections it is a unique fabric. Maybe not for everyone.   • Beautiful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in light pink with a motif of large garlands and white neoclassical ornaments. It is a European damask fabric from around 1930. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is a medium weight cotton. Perfect textile for decoration projects, cushions, bags, etc. Sets of linked flowers intermingle with stereotypical acanthus leaves forming volutes on which friendly angel sharks sit.
