    Condition: Good
    Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration throughout the piece. Moderate scuffing towards the top edge. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. Very large piece that can be very well used. The lower left corner is slightly irregular in shape.

  • Gorgeous vintage mattress fabric (ticking) in light pink with a floral pattern of large white dahlias and exotic birds. It is a European damask fabric from around 1950. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is medium weight cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. Dahlias and chrysanthemums appear in many motifs are a clear Japanese influence, in the fashion of 1900 in Europe. (Art Nouveau, Modernisme).
