    Condition: Fair
    Fair condition. Moderate wear consistent with age and history. Pale fading.Minimal scuffing throughout the piece. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage. Not at all perfect, but with the imperfections inherent in these beautiful old textiles. A special texture, very pleasant to the touch.

  • Magnificent vintage ticking fabric in a muted forest green color. In this fabric the artist has mixed the realistic flowers with the schematic and abstract leaves. It is a European damask fabric manufactured around 1950 to make mattress covers. This fabric is heavyweight and dense cotton, but highly moldable after many washes and wear. Textile very suitable for upholstery projects.
