    Excellent condition. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Some small pea sized holes towards the bottom edge. Both selvages preserved intact. Beautiful hand sewn back patches.

In the past, these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutí" (from the French "coutil"). It is made of medium weight cotton.
