    Fair condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Original color. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. This piece has a lining around the eyelets.

In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutís" (from the French "coutil") It is made of medium weight cotton.
