Wonderful antique bone white ticking fabric with blue and white stripes. It is a European spikelet fabric called cutí (from the French “coutil”) from the early 1900s. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a light to medium weight cotton fabric. The herringbone weave reinforces visual linearity.
