    Condition: Good
    Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration throughout the piece. Minimal scuffing towards the middle. One intact selvage. Without eyelets, but with the seams of the original tape. Very usable! The faded color gives it a lovely antique patina.

In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutís” (from the French “coutil”) It is made of medium weight cotton.
