    Condition: Good
    Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Pale fading.towards the side seams. Minimal scuffing towards the side seams. Slightly worn eyelets. One intact selvage. An original color combination, hard to find!

  • Wonderful vintage lilac and pink striped mattress fabric (ticking). It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 from herringbone weave. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutís” (from the French “coutil”). It is made of light to medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for upholstery and interior design projects. The herringbone has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture.
