  • Lovely vintage ticking fabric with pink and white stripes. It is a European sateen fabric called cutí (o en Francés “coutil”) from around 1950. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a light weight cotton fabric. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. It is a soft fabric after many washes. It has a delicious combination of colors.

    ROSARIO SAYS: “Sometimes it is difficult to define color. In this case it is a “milky” red or a pink. In any case, it is a delicious combination.”
