Beautiful vintage mattress fabric (ticking) with red and greenish-gray stripes with some thin white stripes. It is a European fabric of cuti sateen (from the French “coutil”) from around 1950. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is light to medium weight cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. It is a very cheerful fabric with a very bright strawberry red.
