    Distressed. Some prominent signs of wear: may have significant losses, fading or structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration towards the bottom edge. Some pale marks towards the side seams. Moderate scuffing towards the side seams. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage. Original back patches.

  • Gorgeous vintage red and greenish gray striped ticking fabric with some thin white stripes and blue. It is a European fabric of cuti twill (from the French “coutil”) from around 1950. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is light to medium weight cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. It is a very cheerful fabric with a very bright strawberry red.
