Gorgeous vintage red and greenish gray striped ticking fabric with some thin white stripes and azyles. It is a European fabric of cuti twill (from the French “coutil”) from around 1950. This piece, recovered and recently washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is light to medium weight cotton. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. It is a very cheerful fabric with a very bright strawberry red.
