    Condition: Good
    Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration throughout the piece. Minimal scuffing towards the bottom edge. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. One intact selvage. Very nice hand-moldable texture. Beautiful patina. It is for those who want something antique, but that doesn’t look old.

  • Wonderful vintage cream, white, pink and blue striped mattress fabric (ticking). It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 of satin (sateen) and herringbone weave. In the past, these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutí" (from the French "coutil"). It is made of medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for upholstery and interior design projects. The herringbone has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture.
