    Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Pale fading.throughout the piece. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Beautiful hand sewn back patches. A lovely fabric with a lovely old age. A favorite!

  • Delicious vintage ticking fabric with light pink and white stripes. It is a European twill fabric called cutí (from the French "coutil") from around 1950. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. It is a medium weight cotton fabric. Perfect textile for upholstery projects, cushions, bags, etc. It is a soft fabric after many washes. It has a delicious combination of colors. The herringbone weave makes it very consistent.
