    Good condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Pale fading.Minimal scuffing A small tear towards the top edge. Slightly worn eyelets. One intact selvage. Specially soft fabric.

  • Wonderful vintage cream, pink and white striped mattress (ticking) fabric with a discreet geometric pattern on the color band. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 of satin (sateen) and herringbone weave. In the past, these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutí" (from the French "coutil"). It is made of medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for upholstery and interior design projects. The spikelet has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture.
