    Condition: Fair
    Fair condition. Moderate wear consistent with age and history. Original color. Some pale marks towards the side seams. Minimal scuffing throughout the piece. Some small pea sized holes towards the middle. Authentic hand sewn eyelets. Both selvages preserved intact. Very large piece that can be very well used. Despite all these imperfections it is a beautiful fabric. Maybe not for everyone. See the sketch and photos. The condition is reflected in the price.

  • Wonderful vintage mattress (ticking) fabric in cream, white, hot pink and blue stripes. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 of satin (sateen) and herringbone weave. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called "cutís" (from the French "coutil") It is made of medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for interior design and decoration projects. The spikelet has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture
