Wonderful vintage ticking fabric in cream, white, green and red stripes. It is a European fabric made around 1950 of herringbone / twill weave. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutís” or “coutil” in French. It is made of medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for upholstery and interior design projects. The twill has been used not only as a type of fabric but to reinforce the visual texture.
