    Unused. Perfect condition. Original condition unaltered. May have only extremely superficial marks consistent with age and history. Pale fading or storage discoloration in the center folding line. This fabric is unwashed and has the original sizing (starch). Selvages preserved intact.

  • Sober and beautiful vintage ticking fabric with stripes in Danube blue and white. It is a resistant European fabric made around 1950 that mixes sateen weave with damask jacquard with geometric motifs. In the past these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutí" (from the French "coutil"). This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure from one of the last Mediterranean factories. It is made of medium weight cotton. Dense textile perfect for upholstery projects, curtains, quilts, patchwork, etc.
