Unused. Excellent condition. Only light wear consistent with age and history but has no structural issues. Minimal pale storage or age marks towards the side seams. Firm texture. This fabric is unwashed and has quite some sizing (starch). Selvages preserved intact.
Please note: This fabric is special because it is lightweight, yet it has quite a lot of sizing (starch), which gives it a somewhat stiffer hand. Best typically for firm window treatments, such as roman shades, or to upholster chairs, ottomans, or structured pillows, such as bolsters, bench cushions, etc.
We recommend to only dry clean this fabric if you want it to keep its firm texture. It is possible, however, to wash this fabric, but the texture will transform into a fluid drape almost like a voile, then, mostly apt for very light fabrications, such as kitchen curtains and similar.
