- Vibrant cherry red and white striped vintage ticking fabric. It is a strong European fabric made around 1950 from sateen weave. In the past they called these resistant fabrics for mattress covers “cutís” (“coutil” in French). This fabric is unused. Very rare! A treasure from the last factories of the Mediterranean. It is medium weight cotton.
