- Cheerful set of vintage ticking fabrics with wide stripes: yellow and white, blue and white. It is a strong European sateen weave fabric manufactured around 1940-1950. In the past, these resistant fabrics for mattress covers were called “cutís” (“coutil” in French). These fabrics are unused. Very rare! A treasure from the last factories of the Mediterranean. Perfect textiles for interior design, for tablecloths, for outdoor cushions, etc. We have the same pattern in green stripes and red stripes.
ROSARIO SAYS: “The variety of colors they used for the fabrics is incredible. Here, for example, there are two shades of yellow, one more mustard-colored than the other."
